Jerome Favier - Director

MRCVS

Jerome is a Director and joined Pinewood in October 2012. He qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1997 in Lyon, France.

He has been working in the UK since January 2006. Jerome followed his wife to Lancashire in 2006. He has 2 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats. When not at work, Jerome enjoys cooking for his family and friends, skiing and swimming. Jerome became the principal of Pinewood Veterinary Practice in September 2013.

Andrea Spain - Director

RVN, MBVNA

Andrea is a Director and a qualified Veterinary Nurse and is also the Practice Manager of Pinewood Veterinary Practice.

She started at Pinewood as a student veterinary nurse in 1996 before qualifying in 1998.

She became an owner of the business in 2010.

Tony Gilbert

BVSc, MRCVS

Tony qualified in New Zealand but has worked in the UK since 1992, and at Pinewood since 1994.

During his time at Pinewood he has developed an interest in exotic animals, plastic surgery and orthopaedic surgery.

Laura has been at Pinewood since she was 14, qualified in 2016 and is a clinical coach for our students.

She also has three cats called Archer, Rory and Koda.

Lesley Gordon

RVN, MBVNA A1

Lesley is a Registered Veterinary Nurse and has worked at Pinewood since 2001, qualifying with distinction in 2004.

She is our Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse. She is also a clinical coach for the student veterinary nurses.

Fiona McDonald

BSc(Hons) RVN MBVNA

Fiona qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2007 from Myerscough College, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing and has been with Pinewood since May 2015.

She is our Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse.
